|
The left wing of this federal-style home was built circa 1753 by Nicholas Parker, a cabinet maker, and was later the home of Captain Mallory Todd, the first documented person to have cured and exported Smithfield hams. The house sits on Wharf Hill in the Smithfield Historic District, overlooking the Pagan River. The interior features high ceilings, elaborate cornicing, detailed woodwork, 4 bedrooms, approximately 4256 square feet, 5 fireplaces, full basement, view of river, and a wealth of Isle of Wight history! |
